Membership Target Groups

As a public membership NGO, we have two membership registration categories namely individual and corporate membership affiliation.

Our corporate membership target groups are: community based self-help groups, welfare associations, societies and business groups undertaking trade & investment in various sectors of the economy.

Our long term membership affiliation strategy is to integrate clan based self-help groups into our institutional management system at the grassroots level to help facilitate an inclusive, cost-effective and efficient community service delivery.

Our preference for clan based groups is influenced by the following factors:

• Their dynamic natural formation on solid social fabric;
  

• Their strategic homogeneous geographical settlement which enables easy social welfare management coordination; and
  

• Their evident well-established successive social welfare management leadership structures at the grassroots level.
